MEDIA INSTRUCTOR
Salam! I’m Heba, and I am a media lecturer here at Axcel.
I graduated with master’s degree in Human Sciences / Communication from IIUM in Malaysia, and with a B.A in Journalism & Media from Cairo University. I have also completed several media courses, including documentary filmmaking with Al Jazeera and investigative journalism at Media Prima in Malaysia.
I have 20 years of extensive experience working in national/international institutes as a practitioner, trainer and lecturer, in academia and the media. These include Huffington Post, Anadolu Agency, IIUM and my own company Top Media in Cairo. I have written over 6,000 articles, 7 books and around 12 research papers.
My approach to education is to always put the students first. I believe that when we invest in our students, we can help them to develop their societies for the better. I aim to produce graduates who have developed good skills and good values which they want to share with the world in creative ways.
